What do you get when you mix 20 years of entrepreneurial wisdom, attention to detail, a sophisticated palate, passion for creativity, high quality standards and adventurous spirits with a love of people, community and all things comfort food? Mix in a whole lot of faith and trust in God’s plan, more than a few every day miracles, and you’ve got a recipe for Toasted Artisan Grilled Cheese.
Brandon, formerly a local farrier & blacksmith, was born and raised in Salinas and has found his true calling as the chef and owner of Toasted.
His wife Erica, who grew up in the small town of Carnation Washington, has dabbled in many careers, most notably spending 10 years as a Registered Nurse before becoming “Mom” to Levi in 2017.
They never thought they’d own a restaurant, and although it is a roller coaster ride, they both count themselves utterly blessed to have this new home in Carmel Valley.
